The company established its first R&D center in 1993, before beginning factory production in 1994. Currently, Coway operates three R&D centers - its Environment Technology Institute, Quality Management Institute, and Water Analysis & Research Center - focusing on developing environmental-friendly high tech products and upholding Coway's trademark first-class product quality.
